What is New in the 2023 Kia Sorento?  

Kia doesn't change much in the 2023 Sorento lineup. All 2023 Sorento models come standard with rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring. The S model gets a wireless smartphone charging pad. If you go for the mid-range EX trim, you will get a frameless rearview mirror and an eight-way power-adjustable passenger's seat; the upscale SX model has a 12.3-inch digital gauge display, rain-sensing windshield wipers and power-folding exterior mirrors. For 2023 Kia has added a fully equipped Hybrid SX-P trim with standard all-wheel drive, leather seating, 17-inch wheels, and captain's chairs for the second row. The Hybrid EX gets an eight-way power front passenger seat and a frameless rearview mirror. The PHEV SX-Prestige gets additional things, including a 115-volt inverter, retractable rear-door sunshades, and an estimated 32 miles of electric driving range.  

One of the most popular trims is the EX; it's more costly than the base Sorento but comes standard with a powerful 281-hp turbo four-cylinder engine. It also has nicer amenities like heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, blind-spot monitoring, remote start, rear cross-traffic alert, and snazzier styling, such as 18.0-inch wheels and black exterior accents.
